Hotel Danube (1 Svoboda Sq., 7500 Silistra) processes personal data solely for the purpose of bookings and guest communication. This page explains what data we collect and how we use it.
What data we collect
When booking: first name, last name, email, phone, number of guests, stay dates and any additional notes. Through the contact form: name, phone/email and message.
Why we collect it
Data is used exclusively to process bookings, send confirmation emails and respond to inquiries, on the legal basis of contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not use it for marketing purposes without explicit consent.
Who we share data with
To process bookings, data is shared with our trusted partners — VikBooking / e4jConnect (booking and channel management system) and Google Hotels (when booking through Google). Each acts as a data processor under a written agreement (DPA) with us and does not use the data for its own marketing purposes.
Storage
Data is stored in our booking system (VikBooking) for as long as necessary for accounting and business purposes, in accordance with Bulgarian law.
Your rights
You may request access, correction or deletion of your data at any time at contacts@danube-hotel.bg. If you believe your rights have been violated, you may file a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (КЗЛД), 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., Sofia, cpdp.bg.
